Colorita® is a large and colourful family featuring summery shades and striking contrasts. In 2026 we officially introduce four new varieties: Mette, Zaria, Lynne and Lizzy. With these additions, the assortment becomes even stronger, richer and more versatile for gardens and patios.
Mette – strength and refinement in balance
Mette combines a strong, natural plant structure with a bright and expressive red flower colour. The plant grows compactly, fills the pot nicely and flowers abundantly. Mette has proven to be a reliable variety that provides a full and powerful appearance in any outdoor setting.
Zaria – eye-catching and energetic
Zaria brings vibrancy to the assortment. Its fresh, sparkling colour makes this white-pink variety ideal for spring and summer programmes. Thanks to its abundant flowering and strong stems, Zaria is a real eye-catcher on patios and balconies.
Lynne – elegant and commercially strong
Lynne is characterised by a harmonious white-pink flower colour and a naturally compact growth habit. The plant looks full, maintains a good shape and continues flowering for a long period. Lynne combines elegance with strong performance and an attractive appearance.
Lizzy – soft character with strong performance
Lizzy combines an accessible, warm burgundy colour with stable cultivation performance. The plant grows evenly, fills the pot completely and flowers uniformly. Lizzy brings calmness, quality and a well-finished look to any garden setting.

Sustainable cultivation
The cultivation of potted alstroemeria fits well within sustainable production systems. The plants require relatively little energy, as they grow well at low cultivation temperatures. In addition, the varieties are strong and vigorous, allowing the use of crop protection products to be kept to a minimum.
Another important advantage is the exceptionally long flowering period: potted alstroemerias bloom abundantly throughout the entire summer, providing maximum ornamental value and long-lasting consumer enjoyment.
