Surprises from Royal Van Zanten during Chrysanthemum Trials Colombia
The cut chrysanthemum trials are taking place in Colombia from 30 August to 3 September (week 35). This is a week-long collaborative initiative between ten breeding companies at which business partners and customers can find out about the latest developments across the entire spray, disbudded and Santini range. At our Flores Silvestres La Ceja site in Colombia we will be shining the spotlight on lots of new products and, as in previous years, we will once again have a surprise up our sleeves for visitors.

Over the past year we have been far from idle in terms of range development and are proud of our novelties and highlights. Among other things, we are delighted to present these three newcomers:

Amalita: a bright pink Disbudded chrysanthemum with a large, 14 cm diameter flower. Its contemporary shape and colour are a perfect match for the current trend and demand for large flowers for bouquets. The colour provides an extra touch of flair, making it suitable for many arrangements throughout the whole year. Besides its stunning looks, this Disbudded variety brings the consumer extra joy with its guaranteed long vase life.

Nevada en Espuma: In the white segment, Royal Van Zanten is presenting two newcomers during the flower trials that truly merit attention. These white chrysanthemums are perfect for dyeing and can be grown both as spray and Disbudded flowers. Nevada is a bright white Disbudded variety with pretty, full, round flowers. Espuma is a more creamy white chrysanthemum in the center and is presented as a Disbudded chrysanthemum with large, star-shaped flowers. These new introductions will beautifully complement our regular white chrysanthemum range.
