From 9 to 12 June, Royal Van Zanten will welcome international professionals from the pot and bedding plant industry to FlowerTrials® 2026 in Rijsenhout. Under the theme “One location, two worlds, one complete experience”, the breeding company will, for the first time, bring together its Pot & Bedding presentation and flowering show greenhouses at one central location.
This creates the complete Royal Van Zanten experience. Visitors will not only discover new genetics but also experience how breeding, innovation, growing expertise and market-driven thinking come together to create value throughout the chain.

From genetics to market success
During FlowerTrials® 2026, Royal Van Zanten will showcase a broad range of proven commercial varieties, innovative concepts and promising new introductions. The presentation combines inspiring indoor and outdoor displays with concepts tailored to current market needs. The focus is on key market developments and the growing demand for distinctive genetics that deliver added value for both retailers and consumers.
Visitors can look forward to:
• new concepts such as Coupe Royal, an innovative potted chrysanthemum concept presented in a bowl and featuring a range of flower forms
• Tiara, the new single-flowered Aster series
• innovations across the Pot & Bedding portfolio, including Aster, Lavender, Celosia, Alstroemeria, Multiflora and potted chrysanthemums.
At the same time, the show greenhouses featuring Royal Van Zanten’s cut flower portfolio will be in full bloom. Visitors will experience a diverse mix of colours, textures, growth characteristics and flower types across the company’s spray chrysanthemum, Alstroemeria, Charmelia®, Statice and Limonium ranges.
A special highlight this year is Astronova® – a unique new cut flower that brings something truly distinctive to floral arrangements and bouquets.

Strengthened through collaboration
The FlowerTrials® Experience is further enriched through collaboration with Graff Breeding, Lazzeri and Schneider Youngplants. Their complementary genetics and specialist expertise contribute to a diverse and inspiring presentation.
