Summer is gradually fading into autumn. Be inspired by this season’s rich colour palette. Indoors, but definitely outdoors as well. After all, if the sun shows its face, it’s still a great place to hang out!
Happy autumn
On beautiful late summer and autumn days, it is lovely to spend time outdoors. By the end of the summer, your terrace or balcony could do with another upgrade, so it’s high time for some outdoor styling! Replace faded summer bloomers with new plants in gorgeous autumn shades. You could create an autumn display with chrysanthemums (Garden Mums and Royal Mums) in different colours, for example. Asters and pot Alstroemerias will also flower well into autumn.
Tip! If a spot of frost suddenly hits, make sure to bring your pot chrysanthemums inside for a bit. You could also create a colourful autumn table under a canopy or on your porch, where it’s often a little warmer.
Chrysanthemums indoors & outdoors
You can also set a warm autumn atmosphere indoors. For example, get one or more pot chrysanthemums for your home (they prefer a cool spot). You could also go for a bouquet with chrysanthemums, of course. How about a mono bouquet in your favourite autumn colour? Or you could opt for a bouquet of chrysanthemums in combination with other colourful autumn flowers, ornamental grasses and leaves!
Tip! The colour palette of autumn consists of fiery colours, like yellow, orange and red. Purple and brown shades are indispensable as well. For an unusual effect, you can add white and pink to your autumn palette.
