Royal Van Zanten presents three innovative introductions in the specialty segment
The garden mum season is underway, and at Royal Van Zanten, we’re always on the move. We continuously work on improving our existing assortment and on developing distinctive newcomers. During FlowerTrials in week 24, we proudly presented three promising new varieties — and now we’re pleased to introduce them here as well.
Makrut
Makrut is a true eye-catcher thanks to its unique, fresh green flower colour. This garden mum blooms in the mid-late season and features a compact, uniform, ball-shaped growth habit. A standout choice that immediately draws attention on the shelf or in the garden centre.
Metrona
Metrona brings the ultimate autumn vibe to every pot. Its multicoloured blooms in warm yellow, orange and red tones make it perfect for themed fall promotions. This variety also blooms in the mid-late season and shows medium to vigorous growth.
Cyclone Series
We’re proud to introduce an entirely new series: Cyclone. Named after the flower’s dark centre, Cyclone offers a striking two-tone effect. The series is available in multiple colours that combine beautifully in a mixed pot. It shows medium to strong growth and blooms between weeks 38 and 40.
