With effect from 1 September 2010 Ralph Koopman has been appointed Assistant Director of Van Zanten Cuttings B.V.

Mr. Koopman is moving to Royal Van Zanten from his position as Manager International Relations at Dekker Chrysanten B.V. In this capacity he has acquired a great deal of knowledge about the chrysanthemum market, which, in conjunction with the courses he completed at Wageningen University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, makes him well suited for the position he will hold at Van Zanten Cuttings. Mr. Koopman previously worked at Royal Van Zanten as Area Manager Southern Europe (Flowerbulbs). 

Arie Veldhuyzen van Zanten, CEO of Royal Van Zanten, will temporarily act as director of the Van Zanten Cuttings B.V. division. The enlargement of the Management Team with Ralph Koopman gives this division a new impulse, by means of which Royal Van Zanten plans to further improve its product and service quality on the market for plant material for cut chrysanthemums and pot plants.
